BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

  • Mobile phone numbers (provided by your employer/property manager or when you text START to subscribe)
  • SMS opt-in consent records, including timestamp, phone number, and keyword used
  • Text message content you send to us (task responses, completion reports, issue descriptions)
  • Photos and media sent via MMS for work documentation
  • Message delivery and response metadata

Message Frequency: If enrolled in our SMS program, you will receive approximately 10-20 messages per scheduled work day (typically Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 6 PM local time). Message frequency varies based on your daily task assignments.

Message Types: Messages include work assignments, task checklists, weather updates, task completion confirmations, photo documentation requests, and system support information. This is a two-way conversational system for coordinating groundskeeping work.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to SMS/MMS messages sent to and from our service.

No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your phone number is only used to deliver work-related messages through our SMS coordination system.

Consent Records: We maintain records of your SMS opt-in consent, including the date, time, and method of consent, for regulatory compliance purposes.

3. How We May Use Information

We may use collected information for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Providing, operating, and maintaining the Service
  • Processing transactions and communications
  • Improving and developing new features
  • Analytics and research
  • Marketing and promotional purposes

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.

8. Your Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your information. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may require verification of your identity before processing requests. We reserve the right to deny requests as permitted by law.

8.1 SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE,CANCEL, or QUIT to any message. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will send a confirmation message and cease sending SMS messages within 5 minutes.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation: “You have been unsubscribed from Happy Groundskeeper. You will no longer receive work texts. Contact your manager for alternative arrangements. Reply START to re-subscribe.”

You may re-subscribe at any time by texting START to our service number.

8.2 SMS Help

For help with our SMS service, reply HELP to any message. You will receive information about the service, message frequency, opt-out instructions, and support contact information.

Note: Opting out of SMS communications may limit your ability to receive work assignments and participate in task coordination through the Service. Contact your property manager for alternative arrangements.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

11. Disclaimer

WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION COLLECTED, STORED, OR PROCESSED THROUGH THE SERVICE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE.

WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
